Effective Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 8:00 am, Salem Housing Authority (SHA) will be accepting applications for the Southfair Accessible waiting list until December 11th, 2022 at 11:59 pm:

Southfair Apartments Accessible

1 bedroom units

Effective Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 8:00 am until Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 11:59 pm, Salem Housing Authority (SHA) will accept applications for the waiting list for Accessible 1-bedroom apartments at Southfair Apartments. Applicants with a verified need for the accessibility features are prioritized for these units.

These units are restricted to households with income at or below 60% of the Area Median Income, which is currently $33,240 annually for 1 person.

To apply, visit www.salemhousingor.com and click the “Apply Now” link. Paper applications are also accepted as a reasonable accommodation, but we encourage applicants to apply online whenever possible. Paper applications may be requested by contacting SHA at housing@salemhousingor.com or (503) 588-6368.

Note: Applicants for other SHA waiting lists, including Section 8, are eligible to apply for this and any other SHA programs.
